Sorry this took me so long. I've been SUPER frustrated with myself and the fact that I can't get a clear picture to save my life...clearly I suck and I'm sorry these are again "soft". Hopefully I at least got the DOF part kindof right.

Ok, so Ive been on the road, sorry for no response for a bit.
As i suspected your equipment is just fine, all of these photos has a sharpest point, and over all this depth of field test was a success.
Again, the point of this test is to get you familiar with depth of field amounts at given distances. I would urge you to do DoF tests often to refine your understanding of the equation (distance+f-stop=DoF).
